Hi, there Scrapbookers, Rubberstampers & Cardmakers!
This is my first post on my new blog! Welcome me to the world of blogging and I hope that someone will soon find me! LOL
What's the purpose for my blog, you ask? Well, I am new to it, but I wanted an outlet to post my work on line for other's to see to get ideas from me and to give me feedback! Sounds good, doesn't it? I am going to post today a page I made about my daughter's wedding in May of 2010. An emotional time for the mother of the bride which I wasn't quite prepared for actually! This layout is a 12 x 12 two page spread. I actually created this layout for use in a Patterned Paper Class that I teach at the rubber stamping and scrapbooking store where I've been working since July, 2010.
I am primarily a Simple Scrapbooking - remember the CK magazine by that name? - fan and wanted to emphasize the photos. The journaling came from a poem by Beth Moore. I am working on improving the lighting when I photograph my work. I have a new DSLR that should help with that process.
Enjoy my first post - when you find me - and let me know what you think. I would love to see other blogs of paper crafters with the same interests. I have more pictures of my work to post so look for them over the next few weeks!
Have a blessed day!
Donna
